Established on August 24, 1997 in Newark, New Jersey, the Association Des Akans of the USA is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering unity and support within the Ivorian diaspora. Our community traces its roots to the Ivory Coast, specifically the Akan tribes. While our foundation is cultural, we embrace diversity without bias toward religion, race, or orientation. For over 25 years, we’ve provided a platform for fellow Akans to connect, collaborate, and address mutual challenges. Our commitment extends beyond borders, as we engage in charitable initiatives to uplift communities in need.
